Esports entertainment company, Ampverse, has announced several new hires in order to bolster the company’s firepower, coinciding with growing client demand and its regional expansion to Vietnam and Myanmar.
Ten new members joined Ampverse across multiple business units as its growth continues to accelerate across Southeast Asia, bringing the Ampverse team to 44 across the region.
The latest hires added to the company’s scaling operations include Jackie Tangngumvitayakul, former director of revenue and customer success at Starcom, Kate Siriwattanakul, former head of client solutions at GroupM, and Athiti Sujarit, former strategic initiatives manager at Garena.
Other additions to the Ampvese team include new team members across its sales, finance, human resources, creative solutions and esports divisions.
These latest hires follow the announcement of Tim Roemer last year who has since been promoted to Chief Operating Officer. Roemer joined from leading performance marketing agency Heroleads, a company he founded and scaled to 200 across the region.
Commenting on the new hires, CEO Ferdinand Gutierrez said, “We are really pleased to welcome this bunch of talented and bright individuals to Ampverse. As we prepare ourselves for the next phase of growth, I’m incredibly proud that Ampverse continues to attract talent of such high calibre. Reflected by their diverse interests, personalities and knowledge, our new talent will support us in bringing forth wider creative solutions for our clients.
Ampverse is laser focused on building the leading mobile esports organization across the region. This new string of hires will drive us to keep up with the ever-changing gaming landscape, setting us up for further growth and expansion to Vietnam and Myanmar starting in the coming months.”
