7 Shows On Disney+ That Get The Job Done

In the “new normal” going to work, heading into the office, or even interviewing for a job has taken on a new dimension with both positive and negative aspects.

Office dynamics have for the longest time formed an integral part of most of our lives. Our workmates used to be the people we spent more hours a day with rather than our families or loved ones.

If there’s one silver lining in during this whole pandemic, it’s that we’ve come to cherish our relationships more – both at home and in the office.

Here’s a list of seven “work-related” shows available on Disney+ that capture the feeling of that first internship, full-time job or first day back in the workplace after a long break.

Monsters at Work

Tylor Tuskmon thought he was all set to be a top-notch scarer on his first day at Monsters Inc, only to discover that scaring is out and laughter is in.

Temporarily reassigned to the Monsters, Inc Facilities Team (MIFT), Tylor finds himself working alongside a misfit bunch of mechanics as he tries to learn how to be funny and become a top-notch Jokester on the Laugh Floor.

The Grand Budapest Hotel

Years before he was the owner of the Grand Budapest Hotel, Zero Moustafa was a newly hired bellboy under the watchful eye of the hotel’s legendary concierge Gustave H., and quickly finds himself pulled into a raging battle for an enormous family fortune involving the theft of a priceless painting, jailbreaks and a desperate chase.

Ratatouille

In one of Paris’ finest restaurants, Remy, a determined young rat, dreams of becoming a renowned French chef. Together with down-on-his-luck garbage boy Linguini, the unlikely pair stumble into the high-pressure world of professional cooking and set off a chain of events that turns the City of Lights upside down.

Jungle Cruise

In Jungle Cruise, It’s all in a day’s work for Dr. Lily Houghton who travels from London to the Amazon jungle in search of an ancient tree with healing abilities. To aid her on her journey, she enlists the questionable services of wisecracking skipper Frank Wolff to guide her downriver on La Quila—his ramshackle-but-charming boat.

Zootopia

Zootopia is a melting pot where animals of all kinds live together, no matter how big or small. But newly arrived Officer Judy Hopps quickly discovers that being the first bunny on the city’s police force of big, tough animals isn’t so easy.

Determined to prove herself, she jumps at any opportunity to crack a case, even if it means a partnership with scam-artist fox Nick Wilde.
