Brie Larson returns as Carol Danvers in Marvel Studios' Captain Marvel 2, directed by Nia DaCosta. Joining the cast are recently announced Ms. Marvel, Iman Vellani, and Monica Rambeau, played by WandaVision's Teyonah Parris.

The actual Mightiest Avenger returns to the present day in this sequel. And if she wasn’t marvelous enough, Brie Larson will be accompanied by Iman Vellani, as Ms. Marvel following her own Disney+ series, and Teyonah Parris, who will first portray the grown-up Monica Rambeau in WandaVision.

A trip to the Quantumverse seems inevitable with the return of Ant-Man and his merry band of bandits. While Quantumania sees a bevy of returning stars, the names Kathryn Newton and Jonathan Majors seem to jump out.
While Major has long been rumoured to be taking on the role of Kang the Conqueror (possibly setting up for the next big bad of the Marvel Cinematic Universe), Newton’s inclusion as Cassie Lang comes as somewhat of a surprise. Not only will Newton be the third actress to take on the role, it remains to be seen why the character had to be re-cast following Emma Fuhrmann’s turn in Endgame.

Not only has Shang-Chi wrapped filming, Marvel’s also given us a sneak at the cast which includes Tony Leung as Wenwu, Awkwafina as Shang-Chi’s friend Katy, and Michelle Yeoh as Jiang Nan. Additionally, Fala Chen, Meng’er Zhang, Florian Munteanu and Ronny Chieng appear in the upcoming movie.
