More than 100 lucky fans and media were treated to an exclusive Masters Football Meet & Greet session with Liverpool legends SteveMcManaman and Dietmar “Didi” Hamann on Friday, 11 November 2016.
Hosted by former sports presenter and DJ, Jamie Yeo, attendees got up close and personal with the professional footballers in the cosy setting of OPPO’s Suntec City Concept Store.
To celebrate the visit, OPPO also offered a sneak peek of their latest phone, the OPPO R9s, which will only be officially unveiled in Singapore 26 November 2016. The Legends took the opportunity to play with the R9s and, to the delight of the audience members, took multiple selfies with everyone.
When asked about who to look out for during the game, Hamann singled out Emile Heskey as the ex-England international had only just called an end to his professional career as was still at a very high fitness level.
Attractive lucky draw prizes were awarded to eight lucky fans whose ticket stubs were hand-picked by the Legends themselves. Winners each took home a coveted pair of tickets to attend the Battle of Europe 2016 England vs. Germany match happening on Saturday, 12 November 2016 at the Singapore National Stadium.
