Now You See Me Live Extends Singapore Run with a Mind-Bending Line Up of World-Class Magicians

Singapore is about to have its sense of reality thoroughly rearranged. Four of the world’s most extraordinary magicians are coming together for Now You See Me Live, a stage spectacular inspired by Lionsgate’s hit film franchise and produced by the creative team behind The Illusionists.

With overwhelming demand driving an extended season, audiences now have from 20 February to 8 March 2026 to experience the Asia Premiere at Sands Theatre, Marina Bay Sands.

Just like the films, the show centres on the Four Horsemen, a magnetic blend of showmanship, danger, and impossible feats, each bringing a distinct flavour of magic to the stage. Italian escape artist Andrew Basso is the team’s resident daredevil, famed for pushing his body to the limits in death-defying acts that earned him the title of the youngest World Escape Champion in his country. Canada’s Gabriella Lester adds a spark of youthful edge.

At just 22, she is the only female Horseman and has been mastering Houdini-level escapes since she was a teenager, including the infamous upside-down straitjacket challenge she conquered at 14.

From the United Kingdom comes Matthew Pomeray, whose mastery of technology and sleight of hand has made him a standout modern magician across both stage and screen. Joining him is Spain’s Pablo Cánovas, an international prodigy whose accolades, from “Golden Magician” to “Heir of Illusion”, reflect a talent that has captivated audiences around the world.

Together, this powerhouse quartet has performed in thousands of shows spanning hundreds of cities, including sold-out runs on Broadway and in Las Vegas. Their combined artistry is set to deliver a production packed with twists, mind-bending illusions, and moments that blur the line between reality and imagination.

Creative Producer Simon Painter promises a show that stretches the limits of what stage magic can be, sharing that the selected Horsemen “push the boundaries of stage magic to the absolute edge.” Lionsgate’s President of Global Products and Experiences, Jenefer Brown, adds that the live show brings the beloved showmanship and spectacle of the film franchise directly to fans in a thrilling new way.

Presented by Base Entertainment Asia under CEO Chantal Prudhomme, Now You See Me Live is backed by a powerhouse creative team including Simon Painter and Adam Trent as Co Creators, Executive Producer Tim Lawson, Creative Directors Ash Jacks (McCready) and Kirsty White, and Illusion Director Enzo Wenye.

The production draws on characters created by Boaz Yakin and Edward Ricourt for Lionsgate’s $ 670 million franchise, with its upcoming third cinematic instalment directed by Ruben Fleischer.

With its expanded run, Singapore audiences now have even more opportunities to witness the extraordinary. Now You See Me Live is not just a magic show, it is a full-scale illusionary experience that promises to keep you wondering long after the curtain falls.
