The Magners International Comedy Festival returns as part of the Singapore Festival of Fun 2018. This year, the festival announced that it will be increasing its StreetFest fun factor this year with 70 shows spread out over more areas around Clarke Quay.

The Singapore Festival of Fun is a mega 3-in-one festival comprising three pillars of fun for all ages over ten days during the March school holidays – Magners International Comedy Festival (8-11 March), Nickelodeon Fiesta (10 & 11 March) and Clarke Quay StreetFest (13-18 March).

This year, besides the Fountain Square, two more locations Read Bridge and Tan Tye Place have been added to showcase street performances from London’s Covent Garden.

Audiences will be able to catch more street acts from the 13th to the 18th of March and move with ease from one area to another around Clarke Quay with an enhanced experience. The non-ticketed festival will have street performers engaging people the minute they enter Clarke Quay

Watch Pancho Libre defy gravity!

Get ready to watch contortionist Bendy Em twist and turn her body to squeeze into a 16inch perspex box, with a basketball in tow. Not to be outdone, the beautiful and graceful Betty Brawn Strong Lady will shatter gender clichés by performing exhilarating demonstrations of strength such as lifting two volunteers from the crowd.

Catch Jump Stilts Extreme, a bionic duo of professional stilt jumpers who will somersault and perform tricks of the highest level. Meet Pancho Libre from Mexico who defies gravity on a cyr wheel and hangs high above the crowds on a pole.

Jump Stilts Extreme will make you jump! jump!

And once again, Guinness World Record holder and escapologist Rob Roy Collins returns to the festival with a brand new ‘escape from chains’ routine.

For selfie lovers, look out for The Tree who will be posing amongst the crowd.

Show times start from 6pm to 11pm from the 13th to 18th of March, Tuesday to Sunday. Check out www.festivaloffun.sg for the latest show times as well as exclusive festival deals from a wide array of Clarke Quay outlets.
