EA has finally released the ratings for the top players of FIFA 20, with Lionel Messi taking top spot!
The latest edition of the FIFA franchise holds little surprise at the top with Lionel Messi and Christiano Ronaldo still at the top of the game with the Argentinian edging it by a single point at 94 – 93. The top 5 are rounded off with Neymar Junior (92), Eden Hazard (91) and Kevin De Bruyne (91).
Athletico de Madrid’s custodian, Jan Oblak is the best of the rest and the highest rated goalkeeper in the game.
The usual suspects, Real Madrid, FC Barcelona, Juventus and Manchester City, are strongly represented, with practically their whole First XIs within the top 100 players.
However, the English Premier League’s historical giants, Liverpool FC and Manchester United, see a noted shift in their players rankings.
Liverpool, the reigning European Champions, get some love from EA as 7 of their players take their spot in the top 100 – with Virgil Van Dijk (90) as the highest rated defender at #7 and Mohamed Salah (90) right behind him at #8.
The Reds receive a very notable buff in stats – Virgil Van Dijk was rated #82 in Fifa 19, and Mohamed Salah at #27. Flying left-back Andrew Roberson (85) also makes his debut among the top 100.
Unfortunately for Manchester United fans, the Red Devils fortunes (and stats) have seen a dip with only David De Gea (89) and Paul Pogba (88) among the top at #23 and #31 respectively.
Liverpool fans have even more reasons to celebrate as legends Kenny Dalglish, John Barnes and Ian Rush are introduced to the Icons roster along with Garrincha, Didier Drogba, Zinedine Zidane, Pep Guardiola, Ronald Koeman and more.
Fifa 20 will be available from 27 September 2019. The “PlayStation 4 FIFA 20 Bundle Pack” and “PlayStation 4 Pro FIFA 20 Bundle Pack” will be launched on the same day at SGD 479 and SGD 629 respectively.
Can’t wait? Fans can jump into the FIFA 20 demo of the game starting 10 Sept to check out VOLTA Football and 11v11 Kick Off.
