Fender Audio Makes Its Singapore Debut with ELIE Speakers and MIX Headphones

Fender is a name that has long been synonymous with iconic guitars and unmistakable sound. Now, with the arrival of Fender Audio in Singapore, that same sonic heritage is stepping into the world of personal audio, bringing with it a fresh take on how we experience music in everyday life.

Officially launched on 2 April 2026, Fender Audio enters the local market with two flagship offerings, the ELIE portable speaker series and the MIX headphones. Both products have already turned heads internationally, earning spots on multiple “Best of CES 2026” lists from publications such as Wirecutter, Rolling Stone and Billboard.

At the heart of the launch is the ELIE series, short for Extremely Loud Infinitely Expressive. Available in two models, the E6 and E12, these portable Bluetooth speakers are built to challenge expectations of what compact audio devices can deliver.

Each unit features integrated subwoofers and a first-of-its-kind Waves System on a Chip implementation, resulting in powerful, distortion-free sound across a wide dynamic range.

What makes the ELIE series particularly interesting is how it blends performance with flexibility. These are not just speakers for casual listening. They are designed to handle multiple audio inputs simultaneously, supporting up to four channels with minimal latency.

Whether it is streaming from a phone, plugging in instruments via XLR or 1/4-inch inputs, or adding wireless microphones, the system adapts seamlessly. Users can also configure the speakers in stereo mode for proper channel separation or link multiple units together to create a more immersive, room-filling experience.

Complementing the speakers are the MIX headphones, which take a different approach by focusing on modularity and long-term usability. Designed to evolve alongside the user, the MIX headphones allow for replaceable components, making them less of a disposable gadget and more of a long-term audio companion.

Performance-wise, they are equally ambitious. Equipped with 40mm graphene drivers, hybrid active noise cancellation and environmental noise cancelling microphones, the MIX headphones aim to deliver clarity and precision whether you are commuting, working or simply unwinding.

The inclusion of the FWD Tx USB-C transmitter also ensures compatibility across a wide range of devices, supporting lossless and low-latency wireless audio formats. With up to 100 hours of battery life, they are clearly built for users who expect endurance as much as performance.

Behind this launch is a collaboration between Fender Musical Instruments Corporation and Riffsound, the latter responsible for designing and manufacturing this new generation of Fender Audio products.

The partnership focuses on translating Fender’s legacy into modern, lifestyle-driven audio solutions without losing sight of what made the brand iconic in the first place.

Following earlier debuts in Kuala Lumpur and Hong Kong, Singapore now joins the growing list of markets experiencing Fender Audio firsthand.

According to Riffsound CEO Mah Chernwei, the goal is to bring Fender’s craftsmanship and tonal excellence into everyday listening, making premium sound more accessible while staying relevant to how people consume audio today.

The ELIE 12 speaker is priced at SGD 588, while both the ELIE 6 and MIX headphones come in at SGD 468. All three products will be available from April 2026 across both online and physical retail channels in Singapore.

For a brand that has shaped music for decades, Fender’s move into personal audio feels less like a pivot and more like a natural evolution. If the ELIE and MIX are any indication, this is not just about nostalgia. It is about redefining how that legacy fits into the way we listen today.

The Fender Audio ELIE and MIX are available at the online stores of Swee Lee, iStudio, Lazada and Fender Audio.
