Aston Martin and Glenfiddich Forge Landmark Global Partnership

Two icons of British heritage and innovation—Aston Martin and Glenfiddich—have come together in a landmark global partnership, unveiled at the prestigious Monterey Car Week in California.

The collaboration unites two world-renowned brands celebrated for their craftsmanship, design, and forward-looking spirit.

A Bold New Chapter of Collaboration

The partnership cements Glenfiddich as the official whisky partner of Aston Martin, expanding on its existing relationship with the Aston Martin Formula One Team.

Together, the brands will create exclusive products, immersive experiences, and limited-edition releases that embody their shared values of heritage, innovation, and uncompromising quality.

Speaking on the announcement, Stefano Saporetti, Director of Brand Diversification at Aston Martin, said:

Aston Martin and Glenfiddich are united by a deep respect for heritage and a commitment to craftsmanship. This partnership allows us to bring our shared story to life through immersive, sensory, and emotional experiences that resonate with our customers.

Celebrating Craftsmanship with a Rare Whisky Release

To mark the occasion, Glenfiddich unveiled the 1976 Vintage Single Malt Scotch Whisky, an extraordinary 48-year-old expression hand-selected by Malt Master Brian Kinsman.

Matured in a refill sherry cask and later finished in a 100-litre European oak sherry cask, this limited release reflects a pivotal era for both brands.

The mid-1970s were transformative: Glenfiddich introduced its iconic stag’s head and built a new still house, while Aston Martin pushed design and performance into bold new territories.

The whisky captures this era’s essence with notes of red berry sweetness, butter pastry, gentle spice, stewed fruits, toasted wood, and lingering oak spice.

Only 50 bottles worldwide will be available, exclusively through The Distillers Library and at the Glenfiddich Distillery.

Innovation Meets Legacy

At Monterey Car Week, the partnership was celebrated at The House of Aston Martin, where Glenfiddich’s exclusive whisky experience was paired with the debut of Aston Martin’s Valhalla, its first plug-in hybrid supercar.

Together, they symbolise the rare balance of heritage, precision, and forward-thinking design.

Claudia Falcone, Global Brand Director at Glenfiddich, highlighted the synergy:

To honour this shared spirit of transformation, Glenfiddich is introducing a curated pop-up whisky tasting experience alongside Aston Martin’s Valhalla. Together, they tell one story: two brands united by heritage and driven by innovation.

A Shared Commitment

The partnership also underscores a strong stance on responsible luxury: Glenfiddich and Aston Martin both promote the message of “never drink and drive”, reinforcing their belief that innovation and indulgence must always be paired with responsibility.
