We catch up with Walter Jones, the ORIGINAL Black Ranger, at Comic Con Asia in Manila, Philippines.
It’s been 25 years since Walter first took on the role of Zack Taylor, and the mantle of Black Ranger, on the the hit TV series, Mighty Morphin Power Rangers and introducing his own blend of Martial Arts, Hip Hop and Gymnastics.
Since then, Walter’s appeared in TV shows including Family Matters, Sabrina, the Teenage Witch, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, NYPD Blue, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, and The Shield.
He’s also acted in movies such as The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift and as a voice talent on Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer, Primeval, and Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2 (2013).
Walter shares a little about being a Power Ranger, his career and what’s next on his horizon.
