Anime fever is about to hit an all‑time high in Singapore this August. Crunchyroll, together with Sony Pictures Releasing International (Singapore), is giving Demon Slayer fans something they’ve never seen before — the first international red carpet premiere of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle outside of Japan.
The highly anticipated event will take place on Monday, August 11 at Shaw Theatres Lido. Fans will have the opportunity to watch the film in Japanese audio with bilingual subtitles in both English and Simplified Chinese.
Making the evening even more unforgettable, Takahiro Sakurai, the beloved voice of Water Hashira Giyu Tomioka, will be in attendance to greet fans.

Step Inside the Infinity Castle at Shaw Urban Plaza
But the celebration doesn’t stop at the theatre doors. From August 4 to 28, the Infinity Castle-themed installation at Shaw Urban Plaza will allow fans to walk straight into the surreal, shape-shifting world from the anime.
Open daily from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., the space recreates the eerie, gravity-defying architecture of the Infinity Castle — complete with shoji windows, fusuma sliding doors, and suspended white walls set at dramatic angles.
Certain sections even feature an “infinity mirror” effect, amplifying the illusion of endless corridors and impossible spaces. It’s a trippy, immersive experience that captures the disorienting magic of the anime.

More Than Just a Photo‑Op
The installation isn’t just a pretty backdrop — it’s packed with fan‑friendly touches. A giant inflatable Tanjiro, life‑size character standees, and vivid series‑inspired visuals set the stage for plenty of selfies.
Gamers can also step into an interactive PlayStation 5 gaming zone, making the visit as entertaining as it is Instagram-worthy.

A Milestone for the Anime Community
Singapore hosting the first international premiere of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle is more than just a movie event — it’s a recognition of the region’s passionate anime fandom.
Between the star‑studded red carpet, the immersive Infinity Castle installation, and the chance to meet one of the anime’s most iconic voice actors, this is set to be a highlight of the year for Demon Slayer fans.
Mark your calendars, sharpen your Nichirin Blades (metaphorically), and get ready to step into the castle.
