To celebrate our beautiful planet on Earth Day, here’s a list of Disney + titles to help us appreciate our planet a little more – all from the comfort of your own home!
22 vs Earth
The adorable prequel to the Oscar-winning Disney and Pixar film Soul, 22 vs Earth imparts a poignant message to us Earthlings to appreciate the small things that send a spark in our lives such as enjoying the breeze which 22 (voiced by Tina Fey) was missing.
All in time for Earth Day as we can reflect and revel in gratuity to enjoy all that mother nature offers.
Explore the visual spectacle of the terrains on our planet in the National Geographic original series, by Academy-Award winning Darren Aronofsky (“Black Swan”) and Chris’ own production company Protozoa Pictures.
Despite being in peak superhero condition, Chris is on a personal mission to learn how to stay young, healthy and strong – an attitude we can adopt to protect mother nature. From subzero waters to leg wobbling towering heights, Chris scours the world for limits he can defy by undergoing a series of epic trials and extraordinary challenges.
Be inspired by this series of tremendous proportions, and rewrite your own rules in staying tenacious.
This Disney+ Earth Day special from National Geographic is based on the 2018 award-winning feature documentary film that tells the story of John and Molly Chester, who abandon their urban life in Los Angeles to grow delicious food in harmony with nature in Ventura County.
Follow them as they transform their land into Apricot Lane Farms, a beautiful and complex world that reflects our planet’s biodiversity, and observe in awe of how they utilize the interconnectedness of nature to help build soil health, maximize biodiversity, and regeneratively grow the most nutrient-dense food possible.

Narrated by two-time Academy Award nominee Catherine Keener (“Capote,” “Being John Malkovich”) and helmed by a directing team behind Disneynature’s “Penguins” this Disney nature special tells the story of a polar bear whose youthful memories prepare her to navigate motherhood in an increasingly challenging climate today.
Learn about how the harsh challenges polar bears face in current times can be mitigated through our contributions to the environment! Stream Polar Bear from Apr 22, exclusively on Disney+.
Explorer: The Last Tepui
In this one-hour National Geographic special, follow elite climbers Alex Honnold (“Free Solo”), Mark Synnott on a gruelling mission deep in the Amazon jungle up a 1000 foot sheer cliff to deliver legendary biologist and National Geographic Explorer Dr Bruce Means to the top of a massive “island in the sky” known as a tepui.
The team must first trek miles of treacherous jungle terrain to help Dr. Means complete his life’s work, searching the cliff wall for undiscovered animal species. This Earth Day, learn why the tepuis – much like the Galapagos – are a treasure trove of biodiversity worth protecting.
