Join The Walk For Wellness at Downtown East On 29 July 2018

Ready, get set, mark the date! Walk for Wellness, an annual signature fun walk organised by NTUC’s U Live community, will be held on Sunday 29 July 2018 at Downtown East, the lifestyle destination by the Labour Movement.

In its fifth edition, this event is targeted at active agers aged 55 years and above, their families and friends. It aims to enable seniors to stay active and take charge of their health through fun walk and activities.

Embark on the path to a healthier lifestyle with a fun walk through the $200m newly revamped Downtown East. Flagging off in the morning, the 5km route will take more than 500 participants past Market Square, a 280,000-square feet retail, dining and entertainment area; D’Resort Singapore’s first nature-inspired integrated water park resort; and the expanded Wild Wild Wet.

Other event activities include a mass K-pop fitness workout, BMI and blood pressure health screening, as well as wellness talks on hypertension, cholesterol, diabetes and healthy eating.

NTUC Club is committed to stay relevant to the evolving social and recreational needs of members and the public. As such, fun and engaging programmes, like U Live’s Walk for Wellness, are lined up throughout the year at Downtown East, as the refreshed lifestyle destination celebrates its 30th anniversary this year.
