The wait is almost over. The most anticipated movie title of the year “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” will be releasing in cinemas on 17th December 2015 and it’s time to embrace the force as we strike each day down.
It seems everyone is getting caught up with ‘Star Wars’ fever with events and activities lined up throughout December and even from the time you enter (or depart) the country.

X-Wing and TIE Fighter Land at Changi Airport, Singapore
From 13 November 2015 to 5 January 2016, airport visitors can embark on an intergalactic adventure at Terminal 3’s (T3) Departure Hall, where a life-sized X-wing fighter takes centre stage.
Guests will be treated to the ultimate photo opportunity1 as they get the chance to don Star Wars costumes and take the hot seat behind the controls in the cockpit. Photo memorabilia will be made available for visitors to bring home for free.
The X-wing fighter experience at T3 will not be complete without special appearances by the well-loved characters of Star Wars. Avid fans can look forward to the weekly character greetings featuring X-wing fighter pilots and Imperial Stormtroopers every Saturday at 4pm, from 14 November 2015 to 2 January 2016. There will also be opportunities to win exclusive Star Wars merchandise at the same time.
From 23 November to 11 December 2015, fans also stand a chance to attend a movie screening of Star Wars: The Force Awakens, and win more Star Wars exclusives, by participating in online contests on www.changiairport.com/starwars and www.facebook.com/changiairport.

Celebrate the unveiling of the Star Wars: The Force Awakens themed wall mural on 1st December 2015 as we mark the occasion in the Singapore Book of Records. The Star Wars 501st Legion will be making a special appearance at the same time.
Event will be opened to the public from 6pm onwards on 1st December 2015.
Star Wars: The Force Awakens 30-Day Countdown Event
First things first – TICKETS! Want to be the first to get your hands on those tickets? You know they’re gonna fly out the box office faster than you can say “Ewoks are mini Wookies”.
Well, be the first in Singapore to purchase Star Wars: The Force Awakens IMAX 3D tickets from 9pm on 16th November 2015, Monday, at Shaw House Urban Plaza (Level 1), Orchard Road.
You can also purchase the exclusive Star Wars: The Force Awakens Light Side/Dark Side package priced at SGD$180, which will include two IMAX 3D tickets to the first midnight session on 17th December, two Star Wars: The Force Awakens IMAX 3D movie vouchers, four regular popcorn combo vouchers and two sets of limited edition movie collectibles.
