Share An Extraordinary Moment and Win A Trip to Tokyo!

Sony Mobile has launched the 86,400 photography competition – a challenge by Sony to create a unique photo-gallery to weave a visual collage of a day in the Asia-Pacific region.

With 86,400 seconds in each day to enjoy, explore and experience life, Sony Mobile’s 86,400 campaign aims to inspire individuals from countries such as, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, Korea and Philippines, to find and share their personal extraordinary moments from each and every one of these seconds, which will then be collated to form a larger regional narrative.

“We’re excited to see the tapestry that emerges from this.  We know that now, more than ever, consumers use their smartphones to capture images but what do they take pictures of?” said Chang Seng Hock, Marketing Director, Sony Mobile Communications SEAO.

“It is in Sony’s spirit to inspire and empower people’s curiosity, and through this campaign, we want to engage the world in showing us their version of extraordinary through their photographs. We are excited to uncover these unique perspectives from across the region which will all be pieced together to create an incredible journey through one extraordinary day,” he added.

The search for 86,400 extraordinary moments will commence on 27 July 2015, 9am Singapore Local Time (“SLT”) and will run until 29 August. Winners will be chosen based on the highest number of likes for their photograph – and will win a Sony Xperia C4 Smartphone.

An overall winner will also be selected by Sony to win the major prize of an incredible trip for 2 people to Tokyo, worth over SGD $15,000 and including;

  • Return private car transfers;
  • 1 night’s twin sharing accommodation in Tokyo;
