PUMAhas released the SG City Tees Collection, a pack in celebration of Singapore’s 55th Birthday showcasing localized designs.
The country’s National Day celebrations have always reflected on the country’s past and the collection aims to reconnect Singaporeans with their childhood traditions.
Previously working on dedicated PUMA products for the NYC flagship store and designed city tees for other key cities such as Istanbul, London and Dubai, PUMA Head of Brand Design, Jan Hippchen, was inspired by the country’s culture during his visit in Singapore last November.
This led him to create the first City Tee Collection in Southeast Asia based on the novelty items, racial diversity and cultural moments unique to Singapore.
The PUMA SG City Tees Collection features five unique local elements, namely, the Old School Calendar, CCTV Chilli Crab, Gem Cookie, the ‘Orh’ tee and the Shop House.
These signature dishes, local lingos and iconic landmarks, have formed the Singapore story.
PUMA’s SG City Tees Collection is now available on PUMA.com and PUMA Stores (Bugis+, Century Square, ION, JEM, JEWEL Changi Airport, OG People’s Park, Paragon, Suntec City, PUMA SELECT The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands, VivoCity), retailing at SGD $39.00 for adults and SGD $29.00 for Kids.
