MTV Movie Awards Continues to Award Genius

Following their recent announcement of Kevin Hart’s nomination as 2015’s recipient of the MTV Comedic Genius Award, MTV has now revealed the recipient for the 2015 MTV Generation Award: the Armoured Avenger himself: Robert Downey Jr.

Pegged as its highest honour, the MTV Generation Award acknowledges actors who have engaged MTV’s audience throughout their career. Past recipients have included Jamie Foxx, Johnny Depp, Sandra Bullock and Jim Carrey.
