UNIQLO has announced that it will release the Monochrome Mickey Mouse Art by Joshua Vides UT collection on Friday, November 26.
The collaboration with renowned Guatemalan-born, Southern Californian contemporary monochromatic artist presents a unique take on one of the world’s favourite characters and his friends.
UTs (UNIQLO T-shirts) offer an array of authentic pop culture and art graphics from around the world that allow the wearer to express their individuality.
Vides selected a classic Mickey Mouse with pie-cut eyes for this collection, fusing nostalgia with his signature black-and-white artistry.
The collection features adults’ t-shirts and sweatshirts and kids’ items, adding fun to family outfit matching, as well as small plates.
Celebrating the monochromatic style of this line-up, UNIQLO is partnering with Singapore’s first self-photography studio, Fotomat Studios, for an event that allows shoppers to redeem a free monochrome photo print out with the purchase of any item from the collection.
This event will run during the Black Friday weekend of 26 to 28 November between 11 am to 9 pm, exclusively at the UNIQLO Orchard Central Global Flagship Store. Limited capacity is available each day.
