After three years of lighting up the night in the city, ILLUMI RUN is returning to make a splash on a sandy new canvas. The home-grown run is set to turn Sentosa’s Palawan Green into a vibrant display of neon colours on 17 December, adding a fun and festive glow to the island’s year-end calendar.
FOMO (early bird) registration opens at $62 per person tomorrow for the party on the run, which will see participants get doused in ILLUMI Glow Water as they run and dance through a thrilling new route on Singapore’s hottest beach destination.
Showcasing an inflatable feature and fresh music beats at each of the five ultraviolet zones along the way, this year’s course guarantees much splashing fun on the sand for an ultimate Neon Paradise atmosphere.
To further up the ante this year, ILLUMI RUN is also introducing a new Neon Star (VIP) category. For a ticket price of $88, participants will receive their very own Neon Star Party Kit, which contains a coveted pack of ILLUMI glow water – perfect for splashing friends with – along with other exclusive items, such as an ILLUMI headband, and handphone pouch and lanyard.
Neon Star participants will also receive all items included in the standard ILLUMI RUN Swag Bag, such as a specially designed tee, goggles, a foam stick and complimentary admission into Sentosa.
The ILLUMI Festival continues into the night with a massive party on Palawan Beach featuring some of Asia’s most highly sought after DJs, including ILLUMI RUN favourites DJ TiNC and Rave Republic. Also taking the stage for the post-party is Taiwanese DJ Cookie, No.1 Female DJ listed by Taipei Times, who has pumped up crowds in Guam, Japan, Malaysia and Italy.
She has also opened for the world’s top DJs performing in Taiwan, including Tiesto, Armin van Buuren, Paul van Dyk, David Guetta and Deadmau5. The DJs’ sets will be accompanied by psychedelic pyrotechnic displays, which, combined with a crowd of luminescent revellers, will make for a stunning sight under the stars.
“We’re very excited to bring ILLUMI RUN back to Singapore, and look forward to having it at Sentosa this time around. We believe having it at the beach and including inflatable features will amp up the party atmosphere and make for an even more fun night out for our participants,” said Jeffrey Foo, Director of Infinitus Productions and the brain behind ILLUMI RUN.
ILLUMI RUN will kick off at 7pm, following an array of exciting pre-run ILLUMI Festival activities, including neon body art, a splash zone, and colourful art installations. DJ TiNC will also be on hand to rev up the crowd and get them ready to see the beach in a glowing new light.
Early Bird registration for ILLUMI RUN opens tomorrow, 11 August, on www.illumirun.com/sg.
