Moshi has launched Deep Purple, a foldable UV sanitiser that cleans a full 360° in just 4 minutes to remove germs, bacteria, and viruses from your daily personal essentials.
The unique origami-inspired design allows Deep Purple™ to fold flat to only 2 cm thick for ultimate portability. Deep Purple™ is embedded with a transparent LumiClear platform that elevates your device and features an ultra-reflective Teflon base to ensure every surface is sanitized at once – eliminating the need to flip the contents for a second cleaning.
Also, Moshi’s industry-first, 10-year Global Warranty ensures peace of mind for a decade to come. The successful Kickstarter campaign was a clear indication of the consumer demand for Deep Purple.
When health and wellbeing are at the forefront of the global consciousness, Moshi’s in-house design team worked tirelessly to find an alternative to the existing UV sanitisers that are bulky and clean only one side of its contents.
Designed with Moshi’s eco-friendly, signature vegan leather, Deep Purple is designed to be an elegant yet functional alternative.
Deep Purple’s ultra-thin form fold neatly and slides into a tote, backpack, or suitcase. It can be powered by a wall charger, car charger, or portable battery so that you can use it at home, outdoors, on the road and anywhere in between.
UV-C light is a safe, effective, and chemical-free method of neutralizing potential sources of contamination. Unlike traditional UV-C lamps, the LEDs used in Deep Purple are long-lasting, activate instantly, mercury-free, and do not degrade over time. Deep Purple uses ultra-violet type-C light, which targets the DNA of microbes on the cellular level and negates their ability to reproduce.
Those concerned about the harmful effects of UV lights can rest assured that Deep Purple keeps it safely contained to avoid any leakage. The device also comes with an effective indicator that contains UV reactive paint, which changes colour when exposed to UV-C rays, so you know for sure that your belongings are thoroughly sanitized.
Deep Purple has been tested by independent laboratories and found to be 99.9% effective against common bacteria.
The success of its Kickstarter campaign demonstrated Deep Purple’s widespread appeal: from business travellers, concerned mothers, medical workers to seniors. With the pandemic disrupting our ways of life, hygiene and sanitization will continue to be a concern for most of us for a long time to come.
