Singapore’s leading custom PC builder, AFTERSHOCK PC, has launched its first-ever retail storefront and new Flagship Showroom in Suntec.
Open to the public from 22 December 2022, the showroom condenses and replaces AFTERSHOCK PC’s former experiential space with a transformative focus on embodying a clearer expression of the company’s aim to present the enthusiast PC experience as a cohesive whole.
The showroom features new concepts redesigned with everything the brand has learned in its rapid growth across segments and offers full access to an entire ecosystem of products essential to a Custom PC setup.
From zones that allow users to try different component tiers to a lounging area to relax while assembling their perfect keyboard with MASH, each section refines the Custom PC consumer journey with insights gathered from customer feedback.
Together with these enhancements, the new space will continue to showcase AFTERSHOCK PC’s partnered brands, including Omnidesk and MASH, to highlight how each element of a consumer’s Custom PC setup changes accentuates their work and play routines.
“Creating our experiential space last year showed us that users loved an interactive experience that is less about sales and more about understanding the products they’re trying and how it impacts their overall experience,” said Marcus Wee, AFTERSHOCK PC’s co-founder.
“Moving to an easily accessible location like Suntec was an obvious next move for us – especially since that would allow us to evolve our concept for an ideal tech showroom paired with better consumer visibility.”
The move will see AFTERSHOCK PC shifting from its 8-year presence at B-Central, Bendemeer Road, and represents a significant milestone as it continues to adapt to shifting Custom PC landscapes.
Since its former experiential space opened earlier this year, the Custom PC builder has continued to develop its capabilities by offering AFTERSHOCK Ultra Labs – a bespoke in-house Custom PC customization atelier – while strengthening its capabilities in key regional markets like Malaysia and Australia.
Omnidesk, Singapore’s largest standing desk brand, will be joining AFTERSHOCK PC’s Flagship Showroom to offer greater accessibility and convenience to its customers while allowing them to experience Omnidesk’s offerings alongside other workspace customizations to better visualize their ideal setups for work and play.
In addition, Omnidesk will also offer an Ichi Concierge Service at the new showroom. The service – which assists customers looking to purchase Omnidesk’s popular Ichi solid wood tabletops – comes completely overhauled with more tabletop supply and variety for consumers looking to purchase or upgrade to a more premium ergonomic workspace.
The experience features specially designed display racks within the store to fully showcase each unique tabletop and will be continuously refreshed with options to provide customers with more choices for their one-of-a-kind workspace.
“Omnidesk has been leading standing desk and workspace comfort conversations for the past 4 years,” said Benjamin Huang, co-founder of Omnidesk.
“Never resting on our laurels, we’ve taken the next step forward by creating a retail presence in Suntec with the goal of expanding our consumer base and making Omnidesk accessible to a wider audience.”
“This new showroom builds on insights learnt from our Experience Studio and roadshows and is our first step to creating the most immersive, sensory space for consumers to shop for their workspaces.”
Custom keyboard marketplace, MASH, will also be relocating its showroom to Suntec City within AFTERSHOCK PC’s Flagship Showroom and will feature exciting enhancements – such as a larger floorspace for activities and an expansive Keyboard Wall display – to elevate its customer experience to new heights.
The move comes as Mash nears its first year of operations and continues to evolve its offerings to serve its growing customer base.
In the coming months, MASH will introduce a slew of new developments, including custom keyboard workshops to take advantage of its larger storefront, new limited edition customization options from keyboard kits and switches to keycaps, and MASH’s own in-house custom keyboard kits.
“At MASH, we are always excited to see the curiosity and intrigue that our customers have when trying out new keyboards,” said Issac Yuen, co-founder of MASH.
“That’s why we are thrilled to announce this shift, which will allow us to scale our business and provide new solutions to meet the needs of our customers. From educational workshops to a wider variety of accessible components, we believe that this new space will allow us to provide an even more immersive and engaging custom keyboard journey.”
The AFTERSHOCK PC Flagship Showroom, featuring Omnidesk and MASH, will open to the public on 22 December 2022, 10:00 AM, at Suntec City Mall Tower 5 West Wing, #02-328/329, Singapore 038983.
