Guitar fans, music lovers and anyone up for a little weekend noise have a date with Swee Lee Clarke Quay. On Saturday, 17 October 2026, “Legacy Forever: 60 Years of Marshall & Hendrix” will bring live music, guitar jamming and hands-on activities to the venue from 2 pm to 10 pm.
Presented by TC Acoustic in partnership with Swee Lee, the event celebrates six decades since Jimi Hendrix first plugged into a Marshall, honouring a musical pairing that remains synonymous with his sound. The programme brings that legacy into the present with local performers, a chance to join the jam and music trivia with a suitably on-theme prize.
Doors open at 2 pm, with a photo booth, custom keychain lab, and merchandise booth giving visitors plenty to explore before the stage programme begins.

Fans can build a one-of-a-kind keychain, check out exclusive Hendrix merchandise and explore speakers from the Marshall × Hendrix 60th Anniversary collection.
The merchandise selection will include tote bags, T-shirts, Hendrix speakers, and vinyl records. Vinyl listening also features among the day’s activities, giving visitors another way to settle into the music.
According to the supplied programme, a short opening session with Niki from Marshall takes place at 3.45 pm, introducing the history and legacy behind the celebration. This leads into the Hendrix × Marshall trivia session from 4pm to 5pm, where fans can test their music knowledge for a chance to win a pair of Marshall Major V Headphones – Hendrix Edition.
The live music kicks off with Bellied Star, scheduled to perform from 5.30pm to 6.15pm. The local grunge band brings a sound described in the programme as being in the vein of Nirvana and The Smashing Pumpkins, adding a heavier edge to the afternoon.

Visitors who would rather play than watch can join the Off The Record open jam from 7pm to 8pm. It is an opportunity to grab a guitar and get involved, turning the celebration into something fans can help soundtrack themselves.
Ashvind Ramani follows with a live set scheduled for 8.30pm to 9.15pm. With guitarist Ashvind Ramani featured in the programme as a virtuoso who will appeal to Hendrix fans, the performance promises a fitting final stretch before the event wraps up at 10pm.
Whether you are heading down for the bands, testing your Hendrix knowledge or checking out the anniversary collection, the event offers an afternoon and evening built around music and the people who love it.
