realme has announced that it would be among the first to release a flagship smartphone equipped with MediaTek’s new Dimensity 1200 5G chip.
MediaTek’s Dimensity 1200 chip is designed for increased performance, particularly in the areas of 5G, AI, photography, video and games, to deliver a superior all-rounded 5G experience.

MediaTek created the Dimensity 1200 flagship 5G mobile chip using a 6nm advanced production process, making the chip more powerful in performance and lower in power consumption. This is set to allow for a seamless 5G experience for users anytime, anywhere.
Dimensity 1200 also achieved a breakthrough in the field of AI for multimedia in the areas of imaging and gaming, creating more possibilities for realme’s new flagship smartphone.
realme has previously launched several phone models equipped with the Dimensity series chip and has experience in chip optimisation and adaptation. The realme X7 Pro was equipped with the powerful flagship Dimensity 1000+ chip. With its trendy design, high-quality screen and 65W flash charging, the phone became an all-rounded flagship smartphone enthusiastically pursued by young users.
realme has also been working closely with MediaTek to launch several 5G phone models. realme was the first brand to launch 5G smartphones equipped with Dimensity 800U.
