Usher in the New Decade at the Marina Bay Singapore Countdown 2020

Celebrate the millennium’s 20th birthday with the biggest countdown event in Singapore! The Marina Bay Singapore Countdown 2020 comes prepared with a litany of unforgettable events and experiences presented by the Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA).

The celebration will stretch from Marina Bay to the Civic District. On New Year’s Eve, watch fireworks adorn the night skies, breath-taking laser light shows, majestic musical performances, and even captivating circus acts! Soak in the hype and energy from the crowd we mark the new decade.

The Great Circus of Europe will make its debut in Singapore. Proudly presented by Uncle Ringo, the Bayfront Event Space will play host to the charming circus performers. Watch agile acrobats, death-defying motorcycle tricks, riveting clowns, contortionists and more!

Want to party into the new year? Do it with some of your favourite musical artists in Singapore, as Mediacorp’s Let’s Celebrate 2020 brings the cream of the crop to The Promontory for a night. Dance the night away with some of the best local artists the Little Red Dot has to offer.

The event will also feature the Build a Dream light projection shows in partnership with the National Volunteer & Philanthropy Centre and Showcasing artworks by individuals from social service organisations such as SHINE Children and Youth Services, Beyond Social Services, Dyslexia Association of Singapore and Yishun Community Hospital, the illustrations will portray their hopes and dreams for our island home.

Mr Lim Eng Hwee, Chief Executive Officer of the URA said, “More than just a celebration of the New Year, the Marina Bay Singapore Countdown this year also marks an exciting fresh beginning as we welcome a new decade. We hope the line-up of activities put together with the support of our partners and stakeholders will draw visitors, young and old, locals and tourists, to all come together and enjoy the New Year’s Eve at Marina Bay. As we welcome the New Year, we hope that the public will also help to play a part to support the social service organisations and their beneficiaries through the Build a Dream initiative.”
