From today to 30 November 2025, Anime Festival Asia Singapore 2025 (AFASG25), Southeast Asia’s largest and most iconic ACG experiential festival, opens its doors to welcome Japanese pop culture, anime, gaming, cosplay and art enthusiasts alike.
Organised by SOZO, supported by the Singapore Tourism Board, and held in Singapore’s Suntec Singapore Convention and Exhibition Centre, Level 4, get set for a weekend of visual and sensory treats – from legendary concerts, exclusive stage shows, and a stellar lineup of creators and cosplayers. Shop for exclusive merchandise only available in Singapore, and be the first to try out epic games and experiences, and more.
To experience AFASG25 in full, the festival grounds consist of various main segments, spread across the entire floor — the Exhibition Hall, Day Stage, I LOVE ANISONG Music Festival, Meet and Greets. Special programmes including art exhibitions are also available.
AFA’s many features are built around the exhibition aspect of the festival including:
- Akiba Town: A massive hall home to everything Japan Pop Culture, offering exclusive merchandise, services, and immersive interactions. Key exhibitors include TOHO, MANGA Plus by Shueisha, KADOKAWA, and more. Keep an eye out for exclusive merchandise from various exhibitors that are only sold at or debuts in AFASG25. - AFA NEXT STAGE: Previously known as the Akiba Stage, the AFA NEXT STAGE presents a new stage layout for fans to better immerse themselves and engage with the artists performing on stage. Fans can also take part in the Cho-Bon Dance, a traditional Japanese festival dance performed during Obon (the summer holiday period in August). The stage will host the grand finale of the Cosplay Singles Competition, where aspiring cosplayers will battle it out to showcase their craft.
- Cosplay Hub: Get ready to come up close and meet close to 50 of the top cosplayers from the region.
- Creators Hub: With 158 booths, renowned creators, including illustrators, crafters and more, will exhibit and sell their self-published art, merchandise, and even apparel, tech and others.
- Food Street: Make a pit stop for hearty Japanese snacks and light bites from booths at the Food Street.
- Game On: Dedicated to all things gaming, Game Onl brings exciting titles from top developers and publishers. Fans can find game showcases and have the opportunity to try out games, from blockbuster titles to indie games.
The fan-favourite Day Stage is a dedicated hall that will host a variety of special events throughout the 3 days, during the day time. These events include Special talk shows, premiere screenings for new anime titles, and other exclusive content direct from Japan.
Daily highlights include:
- Friday, 28 November 2025: Premiere screenings as well as in-person and virtual panel sessions with directors and voice actors, featuring Noble Reincarnation -Born Blessed, So I’ll Obtain Ultimate Power-, “Lord of Mysteries”, and “SPYxFAMILY”. Popular YouTuber, Gigguk, will also share on his upcoming short anime, “Bâan – The Boundary of Adulthood”.
- Saturday, 29 November 2025: Meet and hear from voice actors from ”Frieren: Beyond the Journey’s End”, Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX!, “The Holy Grail of Eris”, and “The Apothecary Diaries”. Akari Rito, the voice of Shobijin, will also be on stage to bring “Chibi Godzilla” to life.
- Sunday, 30 November 2025: Special talk shows will feature Shoji Kawamori (Director of “Labyrinth”), VTuber Otsuka Ray with her 5 year old daughter, a bilibili panel presenting “The Beginning After the End” and a highly anticipated Chinese animation, “A Mortal’s Journey”, and Yusuke Kobayashi, the voice of Arthur Boyle (“Fire Force).
AFA will also play host to the highly-anticipated I LOVE ANISONG Music Festival (sponsored by Crunchyroll), and meet-and-greet sessions with renowned seiyuu, creators, cosplayers and performers from all over the region.
