Razer has announced the Barracuda V2 Pro, a wireless gaming headset priced at S$319 in Singapore that combines hybrid active noise cancellation, simultaneous wireless connections and up to 70 hours of battery life.
Designed to move between gaming and everyday listening, the headset pairs a detachable boom microphone with built-in microphones for calls on the go. A foldable design also makes it easier to pack away when it is time to leave the desk.
The Barracuda V2 Pro uses Razer’s TriForce Bio-Cellulose 40mm drivers, which the company says are designed to deliver clear highs, detailed mids and deep bass. On PC, THX Spatial Audio+ provides 7.1.4 virtual surround sound, adding four virtual overhead channels to place audio cues above players as well as around them.

Hybrid active noise cancellation uses external and internal-facing microphones to reduce surrounding distractions, whether that means background noise at home or the bustle of a daily commute.
Connectivity comes through Razer HyperSpeed Wireless and Bluetooth. Simultaneous 2.4GHz and Bluetooth audio lets players hear calls or music while staying connected to their game, and a dedicated SmartSwitch button lets them switch between the two connections quickly.
Razer lists support for PC, mobile, console and handheld devices, extending the headset’s use beyond a single gaming setup.
For voice chat, the detachable boom microphone provides a dedicated option for squad communications. Remove it, and internal beamforming microphones handle calls without the boom extending across your face. According to Razer, AI-powered microphone noise cancellation works in both configurations to reduce background noise and keep speech clear.

The headset weighs 285g and folds flat for storage, with an integrated compartment for the wireless dongle. Plush ear cushions and a padded headband are intended to keep it comfortable through longer gaming sessions and everyday use.
Battery life is rated at up to 70 hours, giving the Barracuda V2 Pro scope to cover several days of use between charges, depending on listening habits and settings.
