Ladies, it’s time to pick up a controller and kick some balls. For the first time in franchise history, EA SPORTS FIFA 16 will feature 12 Women’s National Teams when it launches on September 22, 2015 in Asia, on Origin on PC, Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3.
Women’s National Teams from Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, England, France, Germany, Italy, Mexico, Spain, Sweden, and the United States of America will all represent their respective federations in FIFA 16.
EA put the stars of Women’s football through the motions (literally) to capture new in-game animations, 3D player modelling, and life-like head scans to accurately represent running motion, facial animations and hair movement – players will look and move just like they do during real competition. I wonder if my Career Pro’s ponytail will get upgraded graphics as well.
However, if you’re looking to pit the Women National teams against the Men, you might be disappointed as right now it seems that Women’s National Teams compete exclusively against other Women’s National Teams. That might save me from an ass whooping… I am curious to see the ratings on the teams though.
Know nothing about Women’s Football? Well here’s an introduction to some of the best players in the world.
