THEFACESHOP Starts Search for its Next Social Media Star in Singapore and Malaysia

THEFACESHOP, a leading Korean beauty brand, kicks off the #EcoBeautySquad Campaign, a nationwide search for a new local star right here in Singapore. Starting on 6 July, the competition aims to find a young personality who embodies the brand’s ethos of real and natural beauty.

Calling for applicants to express about what it means to be beautiful, inside and out, the campaign encourages everyone to “Dare to Be”, whether this means feeling free in one’s own skin or being confident about one’s best features. With no prior experience required, it’s an amazing opportunity for aspiring talents to vie for an exciting experience.

Applicants are called upon to let their natural beauty shine forth, demonstrating their inner strength and desire to be bold trendsetters. The #EcoBeautySquad winners stand to receive a comprehensive Grand Prize package which includes:

Applicants will go through several rounds of elimination, beginning with shortlisting of 100 participants who will attend an online introductory session, followed by three thematic workshops, the first of such workshops to be held virtually in Singapore!

In Singapore, popular social media personality Mong Chin Yeoh will lead the workshops where she will mentor participants on techniques and strategies for success in the digital world. Each workshop will focus on a specific topic, with elimination challenges to identify those who will proceed to the next level. In addition, the top three challenge winners from each workshop will receive exciting prizes.

Mong Chin, also known as @mongabong, is one of the top beauty, fashion and lifestyle influencers in Singapore with over 255,000 followers on Instagram and 88,000 subscribers on YouTube.
Recognised as a ‘self-taught’ influencer, she learnt photography and video-editing skills while studying for an accountancy degree. Her unique journey into social media with her added experience will assist the participants with the necessary tools in securing their dream to be the new star of THEFACESHOP.

At the end of the workshops, ten (10) finalists will be selected to participate in a full-day finale event that will end with the announcement of the Grand Prize winner.
