This month we celebrate The Flash’s 75th Anniversary! With his very own TV show dominating the CW, he seems to be having a pretty good run. (Get it? “Run!”)
On the comics end of things, DC’s assigning 22 variant comic covers to celebrate this significant milestone.
The only downside is that none of these covers feature Jay Garrick, who was not only the original Flash, but is the one actually turning 75. Short of appearing in the background of the cover of The Flash #38, the character seems largely forgotten and is confined to the Earth 2 ongoing series… which, somehow, didn’t get a variant cover.
