Not many characters get the kinda reaction that Ahsoka did at the mention of her name! With the end of The Mandalorian season one setting both Din Djarin and the Child on a path towards finding the remaining Jedi, fans had been wondering which familiar face we’d been seeing soon.
In Chapter 11 (Season 2, Episode 3) the animated-to-live action transitioning Bo-Katan (played by original voice actress Katee Sackhoff) directs the pair to the fan favourite Ahsoka… whom we meet very soon after in Chapter 13.
Played by Rosario Dawson (making the dreams of thousands of fans come true!), this more mature take on Ahsoka left audience wanting more. And so does Disney.

Confirmed to be in development by The Mandalorian helmers Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni, the series will see Dawson resume her role in a leading capacity.
I’m just really glad that she lived, that we’ve been able to continue growing with her. I think that she’s so special. So many of the wonderful, awesome Jedi that we love and have gotten their stories told, are male, and you saw them older. When you got to see Anakin grow up it made such a huge difference. I think as people grew with her and aged with her and the story, they grew themselves, and evolved.
