Singapore Band RockWeller Presents Graceland

Moulded from the ashes of rock gods themselves, Singaporean band RockWeller releases Graceland, a brutally honest EP about the toils of life, love, and faith.

If you’re a fan of nightlife and live music who has lived to drunkenly crawl through Singapore nightlife venues enough, there’s no way you haven’t heard of RockWeller.

The band is frequently heard and seen playing classic rock anthems and the likes, and their Facebook interactions prove them a worthy listen. These leather-clad veterans have faced no challenge pulling off numbers by Black Sabbath and rock darlings like Zeppelin and Guns N’ Roses.

With that said, the one thing that everybody wants for their favourite bar band is to hear their originals. RockWeller’s out to awaken the fanboy/girl in you with their debut EP Graceland, and its release party. The best part? The value of RockWeller’s technical production value definitely meets a mark that many independent musicians are unable to,

Finding Graceland

Since 2014, the band has played at over 100 performances in Singapore and is now converging their talents to release a mini album. The album comprises of five songs and three music videos that divulge the harsh realities of being inspired, falling in love, reflecting on life and finding one’s own faith.

It’s set to exemplify the band’s explosive and raw stage presence, paired with the genres of hard rock and heavy metal. It also features the talents of the band’s customary line-up: Stunning vocalist Olga Osmanova, bassist Joseph “Dusty” Goh, lead guitarist Joel “Surfer Dude” Lim, drummer Derek Ting and rhythm guitarist Benjamin Hwang.

Multi-Talent Featurette

RockWeller’s EP launch will be held on 16th March 2019 at hot Clarke Quay venue Get Juiced, which is known for being a cashless bar with trendy options. The band will be flanked by two other opening acts, metalcore band When Heavens Collide and The Groove Gurus, which is a groove band (duh).

Fans can expect some kickass music during RockWeller’s segment, which is a 45-minute concept visual show that will begin at 9PM. Apart from that, the band is also showcasing a giant three music videos, which they have teased on social media channels over the last few months. Merchandise is aplenty, with options for limited edition T-shirts, a music video for ‘Heartbreaker’, and even a CD to help take you back to the good ol’ days of physical music.
