Sims 4 Glams It Up With Vintage Glamour Stuff

Just when I thought I was out, they pull me back in… this time with the Sims 4 Vintage Glamour Stuff add-on. The latest add-on for Sims 4 is all about the glamorous lifestyle. And although it’s out during the festive season, it’s something to enjoy all year around.

My Sims were comfortably living their lives in their quaint little apartment, busy with their careers and spending time polishing up on their skills, when along came the Vintage Glamour Pack to shake their lives up. Unable to resist the glitter and shine of the new pack, my Sims simply needed to get something new for the apartment. Apart from the new vintage clothing, what really caught our eyes were the Vanity Table and the Globe Bar.

The Vanity table allows you to do everything that you could normally do with a mirror… and more. Apply makeup and get the contouring just right to make sure that you’re the star of the next party.

And then you have the Globe Bar, which is simply delightful. I’ve always wanted one and while I’m still on a quest to get one in real life, my Sims have one now (much like a lot of other things that they have that I really want for myself *sigh*).

The biggest addition that comes with the Vintage Glamour Stuff add-on though is the Butler! Kick back and relax as your chores, repairs and food are all taken care of. Bruce Wayne has Alfred, Tony Stark, Jarvis and now I have Albert! The man behind the scenes as I stalk the streets at night gathering votes for my political career. But with most things in life, you’ve got to be careful.

I got a little carried away, and my Sims paid for it… literally. The vanity table and bar looked great, but I didn’t have much room in our tiny apartment. And then there was the Butler, who lives in with you and didn’t have a bed because I didn’t have a spare bedroom. So what did I do? I decided to spend and buy a new, bigger apartment. A couple of bill cycles later, I was charged $17,000 for the butler alone… and was soon left with nothing.

As usual, I always get a kick in the backside whenever I’m on Sims and it’s almost always a reality check. So while I love the glitz and glamour of the new add-on, spend wisely and upgrade as you need.

While not a full-on expansion pack like ‘City Living‘, which is why it’s priced cheaper, Sims 4 Vintage Glamour Stuff definitely adds some glitz and glam to the whole sim experience.
