Developed by the team ,Ice Cream Truck Games, from Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD Game Lab) comes the monochromatic styled top-down puzzle game with a photophobic protagonist, One Upon Light. Trapped in a world of shifting shadows and light, players must manipulate objects in the environment to create a path of shadows to navigate through the levels. As the protagonist journeys through the dark, he discovers clues about his past lurking in the darkness.
We caught up with Chuah Chong Yunn, Lead Programmer, and Teo Chor Guan, Program Director, from SUTD Game Lab to shed some light on the motivation and spark behind the game’s conceptualization.
