Is The Stereotype ‘Gamers Aren’t Active’ True?

As part of ActiveSG’s Active Enabler Programme, SAUCEink launched Singapore Active Gaming (SAG) to get gamers out of their seats and get moving.

There is a long standing stereotype that gamers coop themselves up in their rooms and don’t see the light of day. SAG aims to prove that “active gaming,” the combination of physical activity and gaming through technology, can help transform your gaming sessions into a more physical affair.

We speak to Nicholas Nicholas Aaron Khoo, Chairman and Co-founder (SCOGA), President of the Singapore Computer Society Interactive Digital Media Chapter and Council Member, 14th National Youth Council, as well as Marvin from e-sports team Insidious Gaming, who share their views on gamers and SAG.
