The Baymax figurine designs are based on the theme of “Christmas in Singapore”; in time to kick start the celebrations for the year-end holidays. In addition to the Baymax figurines display, don’t miss out the Baymax inflatable standee, for a photo opportunity with the lovable character. Shoppers are encouraged to snap a picture with Baymax, upload the image to their social media accounts using #BaymaxHug and nominate their friends to spread the hug this festive season.
In the spirit of giving back this Christmas, 36 of the Baymax figures designed by celebrities will be auctioned online via 8 DAYS Facebook page. Fans will simply have to bid for their favourite Baymax figurine and proceeds will go to Mediacorp Cares, a social responsibility programme to help the elderly and youths at risk. Auction started on 1st Nov and will last till 24th Nov.
A launch event will also be happening on 8th November, from 2.30pm to 4.30pm at Bugis Junction, Bugis Square Level 1 (in front of water fountain). Hosted by 987FM DJs, The Muttons, the launch event will feature Mediacorp artistes appearances by Ian Fang, Romeo Tan, Zhang Zhenghuan, Bonnie Loo, Carrie Wong, Seraph Sun and Fly Entertainment artistes George Young and Bobby Tonelli.
The artistes will take part in stage games with the fans and showcase their creation of the Baymax figurine. Fans will also stand a chance to win Disney’s Big Hero 6 premium hampers including the Baymax Pop! Vinyl figures, T-Shirts, Canvas Backpacks and more!
