There have been quite a few batty things that DC has done over time but this really takes the cake. DC Comics has decided to declare war on Valencia FC, one of the most successful clubs in the Spanish La Liga, over the use of a bat in their logo.
DC’s not letting the a small little detail fact that Valencia have been using a bat on their crest since 1919 and the use of a bat on the city’s crest dates back to 1238 (the 13th century). Batman, on the other hand, first appeared in 1939.

But will DC stop there in their crusade for copyright and trademark justice? Levante U.D. and Bacardi might just be next.
