Celebrating 150 Years of Good Times: Heineken Unveils Unique Global Experiences in Singapore

This year, the Dutch brewing giant Heineken is marking a landmark 150 years of facilitating good times and quality social interactions around the world.

To honor this milestone, they have chosen to place the spotlight on their fans and celebrate the ways they have created their Good Times. This anniversary celebration culminates in the Destination Good Times event, a two-day celebration set to be held on 28 and 29 July at Tanjong Distripark in Singapore.

With a rich history that dates back to 1873, Heineken’s ethos of Good Times has found expression in Destination Good Times. This grand event seeks to bring together fans from all around the world to share their unique Heineken traditions and experiences.

As an homage to the multicultural ethos of Singapore, Destination Good Times will take place at the storied Tanjong Pagar Distripark, an emblem of Singapore’s evolution from a container port to an arts destination.

A highlight of the event is the much-awaited Singapore debut of London’s underground club music trailblazers, The Boiler Room. This iconic institution is renowned for fostering rising talents in the DJ scene and connecting people across the globe through their touring DJ platform.

In line with Heineken’s deep-rooted connection with music, the Boiler Room promises to deliver an unforgettable Good Times experience at the Singapore edition.

A lineup of local and international DJs will provide a rich, diverse cross-cultural music experience at the event, featuring Jenn Chunes (Super Enjoy), Bongomann (Ice Cream Sundays), A’alely x PETYET (Strange Weather), and many more.

Headlining the event are Alex Kassian, a Kyoto-born, Berlin-based DJ known for his feel-good house music, and Dutch duo Kamma & Masalo, famed for their raw and eclectic sounds.

Simultaneously, Destination Good Times will also see the unveiling of the He150ken World Bar. Created in partnership with Sago House—a prestigious bar that features on Asia’s Best Bar List— the He150ken World Bar will serve an array of beer cocktails inspired by the unique Heineken traditions of different cultures.

Fans will have the opportunity to savor Heineken in the diverse ways it is enjoyed worldwide—from enjoying it with ice, as is popular in Vietnam, to mixing it into a refreshing Michelada cocktail, a favorite in Mexico.

Kicking off the celebration in June, Heineken collaborated with local cultural pioneers, The Salvages, to create an exclusive collection of t-shirts known as “He150ken|The Salvages”.

The t-shirts, a unique reconstruction of classic Heineken designs, will be available for fans to check out at Destination Good Times.

In its 150th year, Heineken continues to champion the ethos of Good Times, drawing from its rich legacy while embracing the unique traditions of its fans across the globe.
