BOMBAY SAPPHIRE is set to inspire with the launch of their global campaign, ‘Saw This Made This.’ This initiative invites everyone to discover the inspiration that lies all around them, turning everyday moments into extraordinary creative expressions.
As part of the campaign, eight of Singapore’s leading bars, celebrated for their innovative approach to cocktail culture, have each created a unique drink inspired by an iconic Singapore landmark.
These cocktails, a testament to the city’s vibrant spirit, are showcased alongside stunning visuals captured by renowned Singaporean urban photographer Yik Keat. Complementing these images, local photographer Wei Ping has beautifully documented the cocktails under the campaign’s header, ‘Saw This Made This.’

Over the next three months, these artistic creations will be available for tasting at the participating bars, providing a multisensory experience that merges visual art with the art of mixology.
“We believe that creative inspiration is everywhere,” says Maria Kim, Trade Ambassador at Bacardi. “With the ‘Saw This Made This’ campaign, we aim to inspire people to see the beauty and creativity in everyday moments and the stunning built environment that defines Singapore.”

“BOMBAY SAPPHIRE gin, with its long-standing relationship with artists and creators, offers the perfect canvas for creative bartenders. We are thrilled to collaborate with these bars and photographers to showcase the incredible artistry within Singapore’s vibrant bar culture.”
“We hope to inspire people to see the world in a new light and unleash their own creativity.”

Launched globally in October 2022 in collaboration with visionary filmmaker Baz Luhrmann, the ‘Saw This Made This’ campaign encourages individuals to discover and share their creative inspirations on social media using the hashtag #SawThisMadeThis.
“I truly believe creativity lies within us all,” said Luhrmann. “My aim as Creative Director of this campaign has always been to encourage people to see the world as a gallery and unlock a creative part of themselves that they may not have been aware of.”

Bringing this vision to Singapore, BOMBAY SAPPHIRE invited bartenders from the city’s top bars to draw inspiration from local landmarks for their cocktail creations.
These landmarks were captured through the lens of Yik Keat, a highly successful street photographer known for his dynamic urban shots, and the cocktails inspired by these images were then photographed by Wei Ping, a talented local content producer.
Among the notable creations are the Esplanade reimagined as a cocktail by Michelle Loh of Nutmeg & Clove, and the ArtScience Museum inspired drink by Jimmy Kok of The Elephant Room.

“The cityscape and daily life inspire me,” says Yik Keat. “Working with Bombay Sapphire on this unique concept of replicating iconic landmarks with drinks has been a fantastic experience. This campaign is about reimagining and appreciating the often-overlooked details in our surroundings.”

The participating bars—Analogue, ATLAS, Employees Only, Elephant Room, Nutmeg & Clove, Sago House, Stay Gold Flamingo, and Writer’s Bar at Raffles Hotel Singapore—have each crafted cocktails inspired by recognizable Singapore icons such as Gardens by the Bay, Marina Bay Sands, the Merlion, and the Singapore Flyer.\

“It’s very gratifying to delve into the creative aspects of what we do as bartenders,” says Michelle Loh of Nutmeg & Clove.
“Bombay Sapphire fuels creativity by offering a versatile canvas for unique cocktails. I hope this campaign shows Singaporeans that cocktails are an art form engaging all our senses.”
“Let this be an inspiration for Singaporeans to explore their creativity at home, crafting their own cocktail creations from the everyday sights around them.”
Cocktail enthusiasts can visit the eight participating bars to taste these BOMBAY SAPPHIRE creations over the next three months.
