Break out that leather vest and fire up that hog. Motorcycle Clubs are rolling into Los Santos. GTA Online: Bikers opens up an entirely new part of the criminal underbelly of GTA Online, bringing proper Motorcycle Clubs to the roadways and ever-evolving illicit markets of Blaine County and Los Santos.
The latest gameplay-packed update, Bikers, gives players the long-awaited opportunity to be a member of a Los Santos or Blaine County biker gang, with the ability to form and run their own Motorcycle Clubs. Players can form an MC for up to 8 players and open a clubhouse to gain access to Clubhouse Missions, run new illicit biker businesses, tackle new Club Work and Challenges, fight with rival gangs and CEO’s, and collect 13 brand new vehicles, 7 new weapons and more.
Life in a Motorcyle Club (MC) is more than just a fleet of shiny new rides and impressive leather cuts. Bikers brings a range of new ways for clubs of up to eight players to earn their keep, battling rival MC’s and other criminal factions.
Before forming an MC, players must first purchase a Clubhouse. Clubhouse properties can be purchased using the new website foreclosures.maze-bank.com. Owning a Clubhouse will create a new prompt in the Player Interaction Menu: Motorcycle Club. From there, players can start a chapter and gain access to the Motorcycle Club President section of the Interaction Menu to manage their club.
As members of an MC, players will have a suite of new gameplay options available to them. Clubhouse Contracts task MCs with missions, and Club Work and Challenges see MCs to compete both amongst themselves and against rival Clubs for cash, RP, and points toward promotions.
Enterprising players can form and be the President of their own MC, while anyone seeking MC life can join as a Prospect. As newcomers prove their worth, Presidents can promote Prospects to meaningful roles within the club’s structure including Vice President, Road Captain, Sergeant-at-Arms, and Enforcer. Each MC role comes with its own unique abilities to help themselves and the larger MC, from dropping Body Armor and calling in Hit Squads to setting MC riding formations and starting MC Challenges.
Players who own a Clubhouse are eligible to purchase and maintain a variety of unsavory new businesses, including the manufacturing and selling of illegal drugs, forged documents, and counterfeit cash. Businesses can be purchased exclusively through the Clubhouse computer on a new website called The Open Road. Upon purchase the business will be empty until players undertake a setup mission to acquire the necessary supplies for production to begin. Once the setup mission is passed product will passively accumulate over time and players must check-in periodically to be sure enough supplies are on-hand for production to continue.
Occasionally businesses will come under attack, requiring members of the MC to quickly take up arms and defend their property. If a business is left undefended, players risk losing all accumulated product and potentially having the business shut down altogether.
GTA Online: Bikers will introduce 13 new vehicles including the sleek, neon-accented Nightblade, the three-wheeled Chimera, and the classic, rusted lines of the Rat Bike. The DLC will also introduce new melee weapons such as Battle Axe, Pool Cue and Pipe Wrench as well as new clothes and tattoos to complete the MC experience.
The new Adversary mode: Sliptream, is a race where 2-4 teams of riders have to stick together to hit checkpoints, slipstreaming each other to get speed boosts. First team across the finish wins. Slipstream can take up to 16 players total.
GTA Online: Bikers is now LIVE.
