Bethesda and Arkane Studios have released their highly anticipated open-world, co-op FPS game – Redfall. Now available for immediate play on Xbox Series X|S and PC, Redfall takes gamers into a sunless world teeming with vampiric hordes.
Once a picturesque ocean town, the island of Redfall now exists in an unending nightmare following a vampire apocalypse. These predatory monsters wiped out most of the population, cut off survivors from the outside world, and transformed the town’s charm into chaos.
However, a team of heroes is ready to step in and reclaim the town from the vampire plague. As players, you can slay alone or squad up with up to 4 players, utilizing each hero’s unique, upgradeable skills and customizable weaponry found all over the island.
Following the legacy of their award-winning games – Prey and Dishonored, Arkane Austin has developed a detailed open world, rich narrative, and strategic combat system in Redfall. With a diverse roster of heroes and a plethora of weapons, players will face off against sneaky vampires, hulking vampires, and even godlike vampires powerful enough to eclipse the sun.
Redfall is a blend of the familiar and extraordinary, from the recognizable streets of the once bustling downtown to the cultist strongholds and twisted psychic spaces called Nests. Arkane’s master level designers have carefully crafted an immersive world for players to explore and combat in.
The vampires of Redfall aren’t your typical bloodsuckers. Created by science experiments gone horribly wrong, these vampires possess powerful psychic abilities and have established a terrifying hierarchy. Players must strategize and be wary of what’s lurking around the corner.
However, vampires aren’t the only threat. The island is also overrun by a small army of well-armed cultists ready to die for their bloodsucking overlords.
Nevertheless, armed with a massive arsenal of handcrafted survivor weapons and high-grade military equipment, players can fight back. From traditional shotguns and sniper rifles to unique vampire-hunting weapons like the Stake Launcher or UV Beam, players will have an array of tools to eliminate the vampire threat.
Redfall is now available on on Xbox Series X|S and PC. The game is also available with Game Pass.
