Patsy and Eddy launched what is possibly the most Fabulous Gay Pride event ever over the weekend in London.
Jennifer Saunders and Joanna Lumley turned up in full character, as the iconic Patsy and Eddy, to cut the ribbon that officially opened Pride in London after which they climbed aboard the ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS float along with an assortment of Patsy and Eddy impersonators.
According to Twentieth Century Fox, this event is the only time that the ladies will be seen in public as their legendary characters.
In their upcoming big screen debut,ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS: THE MOVIE, Edina and Patsy are living the high life they are accustomed to; shopping, drinking and clubbing their way around London’s trendiest hotspots.
That is until they’re blamed for a major incident at an uber fashionable launch party. They then become entangled in a media storm and are relentlessly pursued by the paparazzi. Fleeing penniless to the glamorous playground of the super-rich, the French Riviera, they hatch a plan to make their escape permanent and live the high life forever more!
