5 Action Games To Look Out For In 2016

So E3 has come and gone and with it, gamers have been left wanting for more with lots of cool games and peripherals that’ll be out over the next couple of years. With all the news that’s been going around, here are 5 games that, if you like action adventure and shooting at stuff, you should definitely check out. The best part, you won’t have to wait for long as these games are all coming out this year.

Deus Ex: Mankind Divided directly follows the aftermath of the Aug Incident, a day when mechanically augmented citizens all over the world were stripped of control over their minds and bodies, resulting in the deaths of millions of innocents. The year is now 2029, and the golden era of augmentations is over. Mechanically augmented humans have been deemed outcasts and segregated from the rest of society. Crime and acts of terror serve as a thin veil to cover up an overarching conspiracy aimed at controlling the future of mankind

I’ve personally never followed the Deus Ex franchise, but after watching the trailer, I couldn’t help but get excited! Can you blame me? The graphics look awesome and it seems like there’s plenty of enemies to kill as well, all stealthy like or straight up shooting your way through. Deus Ex: Mankind Divided defiitely looks like a game I’d want to play and a series I would start following.

Deus Ex: Mankind Divided, published by Square Enix, is set to be released August 23, 2016.

Battlefield 1 reinvents the history of warfare by taking players to World War I in this epic entry into the first-person shooter franchise. Through ever-changing environments at the dawn of all-out war, no battle is ever the same. The game takes you across multiple and varied locations in a bid to fight your way through immersive battles. From tight urban fights in a besieged French city, to big open spaces in the Italian Alps and frantic combats in the deserts of Arabia, discover a world at war through an adventure-filled campaign.

Battlefield is back and better than ever in this new game. For one, in-game graphics look sick! I feel like they really upped their game from the last one. I personally love shooters and playing one set during WW1 really gets my gears going. Nothing will keep me from trying this. I mean, come on. It looks awesome.

EA’s Battlefield 1 is set to be released October 21, 2016.

Whether fighting for the IMC, or fighting back for the Militia, Pilots are the apex predator of the Frontier. They are what all riflemen aspire to be – highly skilled, incredibly mobile, and deadly at any range. But Pilots aren’t alone, by their side is a Titan. Towering over anything that stands in their path, Titans are lethal weapons wrapped in armour and designed to take a punch…or a sword…or a rocket. Individually, Pilots and Titans are a serious threat. Together they are unstoppable.

I didn’t enjoy the first Titanfall as much as I thought I would. So when I heard a second one coming out, I was skeptical. But after seeing the new trailer and the availability of a single player campaign, my heart decided to give it another shot. Not much to say about this for now, I won’t be putting too much hope into it but I am excited to see if they’ve fixed the repetitiveness of the first one.

EA will be launching Titanfall 28 October, 2016.

[divider]Watchdogs 2[/divider]

Set in the birthplace of the tech revolution, the San Francisco Bay Area, Watch_Dogs 2 explores a new reality where an interconnected city and network of personal devices are used to control and manipulate citizens on a unprecedented scale. Step into the shoes of a brilliant hacker, Marcus Holloway, and hack everything on your way to shutting down the establishment behind this massive corruption.

Watchdogs 2, 3 words, I. Cannot. Wait. I seem to have a thing for games where you you’re fighting against corrupt government and government officials, maybe it’s just the thrill of taking all power from the most powerful players in game. It is a bit more stealth than I would enjoy, but I can’t say I’m not excited.

Ubisoft will be setting Watchdogs 2 loose November 15, 2016.

There’s only so far down a man can go. Now one man will declare war on New Bordeaux’s Italian Mafia, taking it apart piece by crooked piece. Soon Sal Marcano will learn what it feels like to lose everything… now Imagine I was reading that out loud like Ryan Reynolds as Deadpool playing Ryan Reynolds.

One man, against a Mafia? Sounds good to me, I love how messy and dirty it is and the difference in social standing, corruption etc. Looks like this would be an awesome game to wait for, and the I’m just loving the soundtrack so far.

2K Games will get you up close with Mafia 3 this coming October 7 2016.
